UN Sanctions Imposed on Four RSF Leaders

The Sanctions Committee of the United Nations Security Council has announced the inclusion of four senior leaders of the rebel militia on the official international sanctions list issued under Chapter VII of the UN Charter.
The list includes Abdul Rahim Hamdan Dagalo, Deputy Commander of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), along with Jado Hamdan Ahmed (Abu Nushok), Al-Fateh Abdullah Idris (Abu Lulu), and Tijani Ibrahim Musa.
Under the decision, all UN member states are required to immediately freeze the financial assets of the listed individuals, impose travel bans preventing their entry into or transit through their territories, and prohibit the provision of any funds or economic resources to them, whether directly or indirectly.
